Biography

Zineb LOUSNADJI is born on June 17, 1929 in ALGIERS.
Very young, she suffered the 2nd world war restrictions.
Marry Mr BERRAH Boualem on May 11, 1947 and lives with her parents-in-law.
Birth of her first son Abdenour on January 08, 1949.
Birth of her first daughter Anissa on January 01, 1950.
Birth of her second daughter Nadjia on May 26, 1951.
The children have evil to live downtown... It is the hour of the removal towards the heights of Algiers, the full air and the residential district of HYDRA.
Birth of her second son Zerrouk on June 01, 1955.
Birth of her third daughter Chafika on March 25, 1957.
The war of Algeria starts to make its first damage...
Her husband is stopped and finds herself without resources to nourish and educate her five children. It is the hour of clears up and times are hard...
Then arrived the period of intimidation of the French Army...
Finally her husband is released.
Birth of her fourth and last daughter Mimi on August 24, 1959.
Then came the period from terror with the arrival of the OAS... and Algeria became finally independent on July 05, 1962.
Birth of her third and last son Yacine on July 18, 1962.
The children grow, her husband takes his retirement and satisfactions start.
The children make a success of their schooling (all academics), marry and leave the family residence in turn.
It is the hour of a well deserved retirement but rather quickly the tiredness accumulated during all these years make her lose the energy that one believed inexhaustible.
The family increases with the arrival of the grandchildren : Hanane, Rym, Feriel, Riad, Naila, Sabrina, Nesrine, Nawal, Vanni, Clelia, Lynda and Lina.
And the first hard blow arrives... She is made operate gall bladder urgently. The operation lasts more than 7 hours; but miraculously she survives it.
Time passes then the second alarm (intestinal haemorrhage) weakens her a little more.
Her right knee then her eyes release her. Her displacements are reduced, does not arrive any more at reading and has evil to look at television. She does not have any more the moral one; but her courage and her energy let to us believe that goes nevertheless.
She dies out the morning of July 31, 2007 in the arms of her husband and her younger son present for the holidays.
She rests today under two beautiful umbrella pines in the cemetery of El Madania.
